I provide trauma-informed and culturally sensitive individual counseling services to adults. I enjoy working with young adults, creatives, and those that are new to therapy or have had negative experiences with therapy in the past. I use genuine compassion, thoughtfulness, and humor to help ease discomfort and overcome ambivalence.
Common client concerns:
Worry & Anxiety
Grief & Loss
ADHD & Neurodivergence
Stress & Adjustment Issues
“Find out who you are and do it on purpose.”
I am dedicated to creating a supportive and nonjudgemental environment that helps foster trust and curiosity. I provide culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care that utilizes a combination of solution-focused, strengths-based, and cognitive behavioral practices. I operate from a relational and feminist framework, am trained in EMDR therapy and often integrate mindfulness-based techniques and self-compassion into my work. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients and try to adapt my approach to their needs and learning styles. As a disabled and neurodivergent woman, I am proud to be a resource for others who share similar identities while acknowledging that my own identity can limit my understanding of others. I am committed to practicing through a lens of social justice, intersectionality, and inclusion.
